Amharas not intimidated of separatist movment

I am Amhara. I don't represent Amhara's anyhow. But my response to Jawar's assumption of Amharas is this: The people of Amhara is proud of what they are and as much respectful as Oromos are.

We don't expect your explanation to know that we are equal and proud of ourselves. We have nature that we are proud of, we have history that we are very much proud of and we are people that can stand their ground at any moment in history to defend our interest.

I like Ethiopia to remain united and want to be involved in politics to promote my own option of unity and federal system that best serve the country I love: Ethiopia that of course fully include the Oromia you preach to separate.

I assure you if you think Amhara is the most to lose from cessation you are dead wrong. That is how you derive this issue hoping Amhara's are going to lose when unity vanishes. No. Oromia loses a lot to.

Let me say this again, Oromia farmers are not feeding Amhara farmers. Oromia people are not feeding Amhara people. Amharas live with their own sweat and hard-work as Oromos do.

Every people in this country gets what it works for. Oromia is better in its opportunities for investment and suitability to agriculture especially cash crops. Don't forget this: it is people in oromia who are dominantly benefiting from those natural advantages.

The Amharas dominantly live in their own state. They are not void of land. There are few who live outside their region and they have all the right to live in any region so long as they follow the rule of law of this country. They don't need your blessing. And they live with their own sweat, not with the help of anyone else. They are able people like any race in this country.

were Ethiopia to end through separation, Amhara is one of the most powerful free states to be formed. Don't ever intimidate us with the right to secede.

Anyhow whatsoever your rhetoric would be, Amharas continue to promote unity believing unity is strength and leverage both in economics and diplomacy.

You don't have the right to spit on us as you don't like to be disrespected and insulted. First of all you don't have respect for what you struggle. Had you been respectful of Oromos, you would very much respect Amharas and other races too.

I tell you bring it on. I don't bother and I am sure we don't bother about the agenda of separatists. We do indeed defend our cause and able to do it at any time in our history. Amharas don't seek other races in Ethiopia to stay united because Amharas are unable, it is because we recognize unity enables us share our strengths. We believe in interdependence and not because we depend on other races in Ethiopia.

That is how I see it and I believe many Amharas share this view.
