I am ashamed for working at ETV?

Some of my friends on facebook likes to label as if my comments and reflections belong to ETV. I know they do this labeling hoping to defeat my argument with irrelevant categorization, which is a tool of those who are weak in the content of their argument. But allow me to declare this simple statement.

To those who hate your national institutions and labor to fix criticism on them, I am proud for being part of ETV and I openly declare it on my profile. It is not something you find out with your investigation. I know while you enjoy criticizing and hating your national institutions, I am trying my best to be part of the solution.

For your information you don't clearly know the problems ETV experience like I do. Yet my intention is not to criticize the institution rather I choose to help build it in a way it delivers quality programs and news to its audience. I can very much be an excellent critic had I had the choice to label and blackmail national institutions being on the sidelines like you and your camp (the opposition) do.

አገር የባለአፍ ሳይሆን የባለአገሩ ናት

አንዳንዴ በየከተማው ጥጋጥግ ይዘው የሞቀ እየበሉና የጣፈጠ እየጠጡ ያለእኛ ባለአገር ያለ እኛ የህዝብ እና የሀገር ተቆርቋሪ የለም የሚሉን የቃል ዘማርያን ያጋጥማሉ$ 

በቁምነገሩ በየለቱ በሬ ወለደ ማለታቸው የጀግነታቸው ሀውልት ሆኖ በየወቅቱ ሚዛኑን ያልጠበቀ ወቀሳቸው ለሀገራቸው የሚያበረክቱት ትልቅ ፋይዳ ሆኖ እነሱ እንጂ ሌላ ጀግና እዚህ አገር እንደሌለ እንዳወጁ ይኖራሉ$ ቀሽም ቁምነገራቸው ነው$

ባላገሩ አፍ ያለውና ያወራ አደለም$ ባለጉዳዩ የወቀሰና የተቸው አደለም$ እውነትም እየተወራጨ ከሚያወራና ከሚያለቃቅስ ጋር ትሆናለች ማለት አደለም$ የኛ የከተሜዎች ጫጫታ ሲደራ አንዳንዴ ይሄ አገር የአርሶ አደር አገር መሆኑ ይጠፋኛል$

እዚህ አገር የጠናው ችግር የትኛው ነው? ዋናው የሀገሬው እሮሮ የሀይ አትበሉን የእንዳሻን እንሳደብ እንጻፍ እና እናጣጥል ዝንባሌና ተግባር ነው ወይስ የባላገሩ መሰረታዊ ጉዳዩች?

እኔ ጋዜጦቻችን መጽሄቶቻችን እና አብዛኛው ሚድያ ሲልም የተማረ የሚባለው ኢትዩዽያዊ ሀገሩን ያውቃል ወይ የሚል ጥያቄ አለኝ$ እቺ አገር የገጠሬ አገር እቺ አገር የአርሶአደርና የአርብቶአደር አገር መሆኑዋን በቅጡ እናውቃለን? እናም የገጠሬው ችግር እኛ ድዳችንን የምናለፋበት ወልካፋና ቀርፋፋ ጉዳይ ስለመሆን አለመሆኑ አስበን እናውቃለን?

Ethiopia is not the problem or the enemy

For the past few weeks Egyptian society and media have been hysterical over Ethiopia’s construction of its Renaissance Dam.  The public was suddenly bombarded with the notion that Ethiopia will turn off the water faucet on Egypt and that this is an issue that threatens both our national security and survival as a nation. The government couldn’t stick to a position between assuring the public that this is not a threat and between citing this as a threat that requires one of Morsi’s famous “National Unity dialogues”, which always ends in a photo-op and no results.

The opposition was divided by some attending the meeting citing “national security” as their excuse to partake in what can only be described as political mess. While others, like Hamdeen Sabahy, gave out laughable recommendations such as stopping ships from countries that are helping build that dam (China, Italy, Israel) from passing through the Suez Canal. Personally, I would love to see the Egyptian government just try and stop any of those countries from getting their ships through, especially China. This should be hilarious. Nowhere to be found: A single statement from any party outlining the policy options that they would implement if they were in charge.

ተቃዋሚዎች የግብጽን የቤት ስራ እየሰሩላት ይሆን?-1

አንዳንድ ዜጎቻችን ግብጽ የሰጠችንን የቤት ስራ በአግባቡ እንድንፈጽም ይወተውታሉ$ ለግብጽ እጆቿ ሆነው ተልእኮ ለመፈጸም እያቅማሙ ያሉ እንዳሉ አያለሁ$ በኛ ይሁንባችሁ ግብጽን አንችላትም አርፈን እንቀመጥ ከሚሉን የመክሸፍ ፖለቲከኞች ጀምሮ የኢትዮዽያ ሰራዊት ግብጽን ከግምት ያስገባ ዝግጅት አላደረገም እስከሚሉን ድረስ ተረኩ አንድና ያው ነው$

ኢህአዴግ ለፖለቲካ ትርፍ እንዳይጠቀም ብሎ መፈክር ማስነገሩ እራሱ ለፖለቲካ መጠቀም መሆኑ ገሀድ ሆኖ ሳለ ለግብጽ የረጋ ያልረጋ መግለጫ ያልሰጠውን ኢህአዴግን ባልበሰለ ፖለቲካዊ ቁመናው አንድነት ሊመክረው መከጀሉን ሳይ ሳቅ ቢጤ ከጅሎኝ ነበር$ ምንም ያክል ልዩነት ቢኖር ይሄን አይነቱን የግብጽ ፖለቲከኞች አጉራ ዘለል ባህሪ ለመተቸት በቀጥታ መናገር እንጂ ነጥብ ለማስመዝገብ በማሰብ የአባይንና የግድቡን ጉዳይ በዚያ መልኩ አውገርግሮ ማቅረብ የወረደ የፖለቲካ ቁመና ማሳያ ነው$ ይበስላሉ ተብለው ከሚጠበቁ በወጉ ካልተደራጁ ፓርቲዎች በመስማቴ በርግጥ እምብዛም አልገረመኝም$

ያለበቂ ዲፕሎማሲና ውይይት ያልተጀመረ ግድብ?

ከ60 ቢሊየን ኪውቢክ ሜትር በላይ ውሀ የምትሰጥ አገር ለም አፈሩ እየታጠበ እየሄደበት ያን በብሶትነት የማያነሳ ህዝብ እውን የሚከፈለው ይሄን የመሰለ ትእቢትና ዛቻ ይሆን

አንዲት ጠብታ ውሀ ቢነካብን ደማችንን አፍሰን ደሙን እናፈስለታለን በአሸባሪና በታጣቂ እናጋየዋለን ይሄ ሁሉ ካልሰራ ደግሞ እንወረዋለን የሚባለው ህዝብ 
ግብጽ ውሀ መጠቀሟ ሳያንስ ሀገሩን በየጥጋጥጉ ሰላም ለመንሳት በሶማሌ ይሁን በኤርትራ በሱዳን በኩል ለመፍጠር የምትሞክረውን የማሸበር የማስታጠቅ ስራ የሚዘነጋ አደለም

ያም ሆኖ ግን የሆዱን በሆዱ ይዞ በሰላምና በመቻቻል ውሀውን መጠቀም የሚሻ ቀና አገር ቀና ህዝብ

እውን ከወርቅ የሚቆጠር ውሀ ያጠጣ ህዝብ ግብጽ ሆንኩ ለምትለው ነገር ሁሉ የሚሆነውን ውሀ ያበረከተ ሀገር የሚከፈለው ወሮታ ማጋየት እና ጦርነት ነው

የአባይን ግድብ በግብጸቹ አይን 1

ግብጽና ናይል ናይልና ግብጽ አንድና ያው ናቸው እየተባለ ያደገ ህዝብ$ በዚህ ረገድ አደጋ የምትሆን ታሪካዊ ጠላት ኢትዮዽያ እንጂ ሌላ ማንም አደለም እየተባለ የኖረ ህዝብ ለማመን ቢያመነታ አይገርምም$ በውል መወያየት ጉዳዩን በወጉ ማሳየት ያለባቸውና እውነቱን የሚያውቁት የግብጽ ፖለቲከኞችና ሚዲያው ሲቆምር ግን ይደብራል$

እያወራን ያለነው ግብጽ ቅኝ ገዢዋን እና ጎረቤቷን ሱዳንን በማስማማት ለሀገራችን አንድ ጣሳ ውሀ ያስፈልጋታል ሳትል በስግብግብነት ስለፈጸመችው የዛገ ውልና ይህንኑ አሳፋሪ ስምምነት ታሪካዊና ተፈጥሮአዊ መብቴ እያሉ ስለሚደሰኩሩት ለዚህ ዘመን ስለማይመጥኑ ፖለቲከኞች ነው$

60 ቢሊየን ኪውቢክ ሜትር ዉሀ የምታበረክተው ምድር ህዝብ ጥምና ርሀብ ይፍጅህ ተብሎ 56 ቢሊየን ኪውቢክ ሜትር የሚጠጋውን ውሀ ያለማቅማማት የኔ መብት ነው ስትል ለሱዳን ደግሞ ከ20 ቢሊየን ኪውቢክ ሜትር በላይ ውሀ ትታላታለች$ ለኢትዮዽያዬ የቀራት ግን ታሪካዊና ተፈጥሯዊ ጠላት የሚል ቅጥያ ነው$

ግብጽ ውሀ አጠር አካባቢ ከመሆኗ አንጻር ከሁሉም አገሮች የተለየ ውሀው እንደሚያስፈልጋት እናምናለን ይሄ ማለት ግን እኔ ያልኩት ካልሆነ የሚል የቀረርቶ ፍቃድ ይኖራታል ማለት አደለም$ ሀገሬ ግብጾቹ ሲያሻቸው በሱማሌ በኩል ሲያሻቸው በኤርትራ በኩል በሚያደርጉት የማመስ ስትራቴጂ ዋጋ ስትከፍል መኖሯ የአደባባይ ሚስጥር ነው$

Ethiopia better get prepared for the worst in case Egypt….

I don't understand when some so called patriotic Ethiopians ask me to think twice before keeping constructing the dam in the face of continuing threat to attack or sabotage it.

Some of them even reckon that Ethiopia shouldn't lose a single life to keep the construction happening. I tell thou you never know the nation and the blood you are. while we respect our neighbors and any country related to us in anyway, we didn't, haven't and won't fail to defend our sovereignty.
